  1. All you need is a US passport. A lot of times they don't even check for it because we own the Bahamas. The only time they might check is on they way back if you look like a native.

But DEFINITELY get on just in case, you DO NOT want to go to jail in the Bahamas.

  2. You would just need your US passport.

  3. There is only one type of passport. There are different kinds of visas, but you don't need a visa to go to the Bahamas. Just a year ago, all you needed was a drivers license/photo ID to take a cruise there.

EDIT: We don't own the Bahamas. It's a former British colony, but it is independent now, and has been for a while. It has just always had the same travel guidelines that we had in the past for Americans to travel to Canada and Mexico. The laws have recently changed and now they require passports. That's pretty much it.

  4. All you will be needing is a US passport.

    HAWD

  5. you need the booklet!!!

  6. yeah

  7. Just a regular passport.

  8. A plain old passport.

  9. REgular old passport. They didn't ask for mine.

  10. i think u wuld need a passport with a picture in it duhhh

  11. There is now the passport book and passport card ( only for land use in North America or cruises in the Caribbean), BUT...passports are NOT required for sea travel until June 1, 2009.  Even then, if the cruise begins and ends in the U.S., passport need is most likely going to be waived.  See site below to read current law.  Some cruise lines want passengers to have  a passport so it is wise to call and ask their policy.
