I love Penne with creamy pesto sauce. So delicious but so fattening.

i love fettucini with all the thick, creamier sauces and i love angel hair/spaghetti with all the tangy, marinara-type sauces.

It depends on the salsa you have with the pasta. Italians will only enjoy certain pastas with certain salsas. They tell me that they won't eat a pasta if it is served with the wrong salsa.

My favourite is taglitelli and pesto salsa.

i personally dont think its the pasta its the sauces and seasonings that makes one pasta better than another pasta

Anything with alfredo sauce is really awesome :-)  I pretty much like all pasta & sauce though, except for puttanesca sauce. If you mean what kind of plain pasta tastes best, I would say ravioli & tortellini. I also recently discovered that I prefer whole wheat pasta to regular :-)

I have to say that I love pesto noodles, so good;]
