What type of perm should i get?

i have perfectly straight hair with no volume or anything. it just sits there and even if i curl it with a ton of hairspray, it only stays in for a few hours. i dont even know if wavy perms exist, but if they do i'm thinking about getting one. and all the perms ive seen have been really extremely curly and i dont want that. i want waves. what type of perm should i get and how long do they last? what is the difference betweena body perm and a wavy perm?

Sometimes you have to be careful with perms. They can totally ruin your hair and just make them frizzy. I'd go with the wazy style like beachwaves. My hair is naturally curly and beachwaves are the prettiest. Don't get in the ringlets. Ew. Shirley Temple lol. Body perm is a LOT of curls and just body to it. A wavy perm would look more natural.

gosh... be really careful, perms can ruin ur hair and unless ur committed to keeping up with the touch ups, dont do it cus it kinda looks bad when it grows out... the best person to ask is ur hairstylist
