What are the signs that someone is uptight?

To me an uptight person is someone who isn't usually serene. They take things very serious and aren't able to loosen up easily.

That is such a generalization.  The person you may label uptight, another person may label as conservative. Calling a person uptight is labeling them, wrong thing to do.  Just because someone has different ethical and moral codes then the majority

does not make them "uptight"
