  1. I'd say get a ferret, WHY you ask? Well, I own 3 and they turned my depressed life around! check out this article

    http://www.albertalocalnews.com/reddeera...

  2. depends on your lifestyle. If you are very busy and barely home a dog is not for you. If you live in an apt a dog would also not be the best fit. A cat is pretty easy to take care of, but can still be petted and played with. Fish are nice to look at, but not much fun if you ask me. I personally have a Saint Berenard, but I live in a house with a backyard and am home a lot to take care of him. Oh yeah also live in Iowa so he can play in the snow. :) Best thing I can tell you is do some reasearch online before deciding what to get. Good luck.

  3. You should go to your local animal shelters, there so many different types of  animals that are homeless, im sure there will be the right pet there for u.

  4. I think you should get a hermit crab.

they are friendly very easy to care for and if you forget to feed them they live.

    very inexpensive.

  5. When it comes to type I would choose a dog; however, that is my choice.  I feel you should think of why you want a pet, how a pet will affect your time and schedule, and then research the internet for information on various pets. This will give you an idea of what kind of pet fits best with your lifestyle.

I like the lab breed because they are good with all humans (a family dog), they are easy to train and will protect your home and property. They are very active animals. if you are into outdoor exercises, this is the dog for you. The only draw back is that  their life cycle is only about 10 to 13 years. And, they are large dogs.

I wish you well in your search.

  6. go to www.animalplanet.com then go to games and then click pet picker and it asks you like 20 questions about how active you are and stuff and then it will tell you witch pet is best for you

  7. Totally depends on how much time you have to commit. Cats are low maintenance and usually do well on their own a lot;  dogs take more affection and more time walking them etc.  If you get a caged animal (bird, hamster etc.) it will probably take the least.

  8. You should get a unicorn! I have one his name is billy.

  9. labrador retrievers, the number one pets!

  10. Get a turtle.

    Lives for a long time.

They can survive along time without food if you forget to feed it.

Depending on the owner, they can be trained to hand-feed.

Also, they can be very active.

They are also the lowest-maintenance and you don't have to take them out for walks.

Very easy pet to take care of for beginners.

  11. it really depends on you and your work/school schedule, your preferences and how much time and money you are willing to put into getting a pet.

It's a decision YOU should make, not somebody you dont even know.

  12. turtle- long life

    bird- easy to look after

    dog- friendly

    cat- friendly

    rabbit- easy to look after

guinea pigs- easy to look after but they are ugly.
