What type of pets are you allowed to own in Charles County / Southern Maryland?

I want to own some chickens and I live in Charles County in Southern Maryland. I was wondering what type of pets can you own in Charles County / Southern Maryland besides cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, rabbits, and birds.

i went on the charles country humaine society website http://www.humanesocietycc.org/regs.htm and it says nothing against chickens it does say that it is illegal is the animal fouls the smell of the air. dont know if chickens are like that or not. but i looked high and low and it apperars to me it is legal if u get a small animal licence. there is also a phone number on there too. 301 645-8181hope this helps. good luck with rasing your chickens! : )
