What type of photography do you need to go to school for in order to do Crime Scene Photography?

I live in Minnesota and I really want to go to a school for crime scene photography aka forensic photography, but I need to know what type of photography I should learn in order to get into that feild? because around here there isn't any school that focuses just on crime scene photography. At least i don't think there is.

  1. I do crime scene photography and I am just a police officer.  There is no special need for wielding the camera buddy, just that you have knowledge of different areas of forensics, etc.


  2. I would imagine you would have to train at least to the level of a forensics technician as well as the photography courses. Here is an outline for an online forensics photography course
