If you go to this link and look at the picture for the "Demo" model. I just was just wondering what type of photography this is?

  4. That's sort of a time-lapse technique. It's not a specific sub-category of photography.

    In order to reproduce this technique you'll need a tripod and a camera that's capable of shooting 3 or more fps. Set the camera on the tripod and set the camera to a relatively fast shutter speed -- fast enough to freeze the subject in motion. Hold down on the release when you want to start and let go when you're done.

    When all is done you'll have a sequence of photos, each with the subject in a different position along its path. The last thing to do is to bring them into Photoshop or a similar image manipulation program to merge the sequence together (various masking and extraction techniques can do the trick). Since the camera was still throughout the shoot nothing other than the position of the subject should have changed between each photo.
