What type of pick should i use?

hypothetically speaking, if i were to play rhythm guitar in a band, (still in the process of making one) what kind of pick should i use, thickness and what not?

  1. You would use a medium, or thin pick.  There's too many styles, and materials to get into them all.  I like a 355 triangle.  If you break one side, you have two left.  Just go to your search box, and type in guitar pick.


  2. i really doesnt matter in my opinon... i buy whatever is a bundle pack like 12 picks for $5, u know what i mean... and when im in a hurry i cut out a triangle from a credit card and it works... sometimes i go to the GUITAR CENTER to get some free ones from the salesmen that say guitar center.

  3. Use thin or medium-thin picks. otherwise, if you use a hard pick, you will findit harder on account of the string not bending easy on the up and down strokes.

    Hard picks , 1mm are for speed pickin and solo.
