in my 10 gallon tank i only have 1 live java fern with 3 fake plants. My fish are 2 guppies, 2 cories and 1 snail. I want a plant that can handle not being specially cared for with low-moderate light. Any suggestions?

also i need to be able to get it at my local petsmart. (so it must be pretty common)

  1. Dwarf Amazon Sword Plants are nice! and give your fish cover and hiding places.

  2. i have an established 10 gal w/ 5 fish that I bought java fern for over 2 yrs ago  it filled the tank nicely w/ little attention. have u given yours enuff time to establish?

  3. Swords need lots of light tho. Maybe a few variations of a java fern or moss. Hairgrass is also good. Just look for broad leaf plants that are not swords.
