What type of plug sockets are in Ireland?

I'm going to Dublin this week and want to know if I need to take a plug converter like when going to France.

  1. We use 3-pin plugs, electricity is 220V and 50Hz


  2. Same as the UK but different to the US : ) Does that help?  We're the more square shaped pins.
