  1. "If we were to pull out now - how many Iraqi civilians will die?"

"Can you describe the current Iraqi government?"  (Most anti-war types cannot.)

"Why do you (the anti-war activist) support the terrorists over the Iraqi government selected by the Iraqi people in UN certified elections?"

"Should we listen to the anti-war activists who know next to nothing about events in Iraq or to the soldiers who have served there?"

"Why is it that reporters who go out with the troops and see events with their own eyes are optimistic about Iraq - while those who never left the 'Green Zone' are not?"

"How will you prevent morale in the US military from collapsing if the troops are pulled out before they say they should be pulled out?"

"How long will it be before the people in the military trust the American people again if they are pulled out before the job is finished?"

  2. What will happen in Iraq if the U.S. pulls out all the troops?

Is Iraq ready to deal with their own country now?

Aren't we responsible for the chaos they are experiencing at this time?

What happens if we leave and then have to go back?

Do you believe that since we are already there that it would make Al Qaeda feel they were victorious if we left?

  3. Contact someone from Iraq Veterans Against the War. www.ivaw.org   Talk to vets who have been there and seen why this occupation is not working.

  4. Those golden words from "A pot of golds glittering at the end of the rainbow"

Which the hungry ghost have no answers for it.

But hungry for the golden words.

Even how deep the graveyards one may dig.

Will not be able to come up with answers for it.

    What do you think?

  5. Youve gotten very good debate questions..so I'll add a few I didnt see

1.In the times of Vietnam,an unpopular war by most peoples standards, the Congress chose to de- fund the war causing the war to end.In todays Iraq war, with the same undertone by so many as back in those days, why isnt Congress not voting to defund this(Iraq) war.

1.b. if Congress thinks this is a war we cannot win,why have they voted in so many resolutions against it except for using the power of defunding it all together?

1c.Why do they insist on Bush to be the one to get us out,as they have stated they didnt want it to be around by the time of elections...is it they want to use it as a political tool to defeat the republicans?

    2. Al Queida

2b. we made the enemy mass into one country, bring them from around the region and the globe, exposing them and for the most part, defeating them, would it had been better to just attack them world wide, using more expenses to flush them out ,instead of them making the move to meet us in Iraq, where they were defeated.

  6. Why do they think the Al Quada terrorist in Afghanistan, are more important than the Al Quada terrorist in Iraq.

They will usually respond with " there were no al quada terrorist before we invaded "

And not answer the question you asked.

Ask them why they think Al Quada will leave Iraq, if we leave Iraq ?

Wouldn't that mean, Al Quada would leave Afghanistan, if we left afghanistan ?

And we know thats not gonna happen.

Ask them if they support the UN ?

If they say yes, then ask them why they don't suppoort the UN authorized mulitinational force in Iraq ?

Ask them if they support Represenatitive Murtha ?

Murtha said we need to get out of Iraq, because a genocide is going on there.

But the UN Charter, says all member nations, MUST act to stop genocides.

    hope this helps.
