  1. I really like prince rackets. My dad use to play doubles with John Mcenroe  (he won the Orange Bowl with him) and he's always used Prince rackets and gotten me Prince rackets.  I guess it just depends on your preference and your strokes.  If your shots aren't as hard you might need a racket that has more power, but i find that i overhit with a racket with a lot of power. anyways, i hope this helped and good luck with getting a racket! i'm looking for one too though.  You can try demo-ing rackets from a tennis club or even omega :)

  2. well all it is is head and grip so demo it take your forehand hand

and grip it like you are going to smak something really hard then stick your other hand index finger in that slot if there is space it is to big if there no space it is to small so just get over grip

  3. There are so many choices at Tennis-Warehouse I can understand your confusion.  A good racquet isn't cheap, expect to pay between $120 and $200 for a good one. You should be looking for one to compliment your game, to add power or stability to your swing.  The size of the racquet is determined by the size of your hand and racquets come in different weights - if it's too heavy, it could hurt your game (and you) more than help.  Stringing is another story, do you want high or low tension?

If you have an instructor, you should ask him or her what they would recommend.  Maybe print out a couple of the ones you were looking at on the Tennis-Warehouse site and show them.  A good instructor's advice will be more to help you and your game than to line their pockets with the retail dollars from selling tennis-items.  Take some group lessons on public courts - the instructor should have different racquets you can try (you can always get something cheap to last you a few weeks from Sports Authority  DicksSportingGoods until you find out what your game is).   If you don't have an instructor you can talk to, go to a tennis shop in your area and speak with someone about your game.  Just because Maria plays with an O3, doesn't mean your game is similar to hers.

I wish you the best and hope you have a lot of fun with tennis - it's a great game that will last you the rest of your life if you choose.
