What type of rat is the most trainable, loving and attention needing?

I have a fancy rat, a hooded rat mixed with fancy, and a dumbo hooded.

By far my hooded mixes are more friendly and sweet and easier to train.

A regular fancy rat is affectionate, trainable and loves attention. For the most part, it is not important what kind of fancy rat you get.

All domestic rats (Norway rats) can be trainable, loving, and attention seeking.  Dumbo rats aren't any different then 'normal' rats, their ears are just different.

Best thing would to be talking to a few rat rescues, and seeing what kind of rats you feel would fit you best.  Males are usually cuddlier and more loving then females, but only because females are typically more active and on the go exploring all the time.

We have a "Dumbo" rat and she is great, fantastic fun! Male rats 'tend to get fat and lazy and very big (over one pound) but females stay smaller and more active. Hooded rats are awesome.

all rats are basically the same, they just look different c:

they also all have different personalities so when your at the pet store or breeders take a lot of time to pick your rat to see what its personality is like.

however the rats that are more skiddish and scared of you are the ones i always get because i know they turn out cuddly. hah.
