What type of rear end do i have?

i have a dodge ram 1500 quad cab rwd it is the 5.2 motor. what ype of rear end do i have and do i have the dodge equivalant to a posi rear end

No one can tell, its an option, if you bought it new, what did you order?  MOPAR calls their rear ends Sure Grips.  The only way to tell is to jack up both rear wheels and turn one side.  If the other side turns the same way its a Sure Grip.  Or, turn one side and have someone hold the other side tire, if it doesn't turn you have open differentials.

An other way is to pull into deep soft sand.  Stop, hit the gas, if both wheels turn at exactly the same time its a Sure Grip.
