What type of rosin is appropriate for a beginners violin?

I have a very basic vioin - a starter fullsize that i got for 100euro and the rosin has now dried out (I have replacement strings, I know I'll have to change them!) so I was wondering what the most appropriate type of rosin for the bow is?

  1. i have asked this many times to my violin instructor and she said that the darker the rosin the better. but after researching on my on i found out that it depends on where you live and what climate  is like.  look here for more details:
