Tankers carry liquid cargoes - petro - chemicals, veg oils, tropical oils, molasses, etc

By far the most common for General Cargo are Container Ship and Hubs like Singapore and Rotterdam are unbelievably huge.  But for the most part their cargoes are convenience goods.  Commercial products like Appliances and such.  They are a real boon to distributors as the cargoe can be loaded into a container, put on a truck to the port, loaded on the ship. offloaded at the destination and unpacked at the warehouse, with no additional handling. There are also consolidated shipments for shippers with less than required to fill a container.

But Ore, so essential to industry, has to go by 'Bulk Carriers'.  Oil and even Gas are shipped via massive Tankers.  Without these two, Industry couldn't survive and there would be no products to ship.
