  1. you should get a taller board at least a 147cm im 5'3 and i use a 148cm board. You should get something like the burton stigma or the roxy sugar snowboard.

  2. I have 3 burtons. Amazing boards.  BUt a 139? You need to go up to at least a 147.

  3. ok well i ride the forum bully (a larger version of the forum grudge) and i would definetly get the forum grudge. it has great pop and it is so much fun to ride. its great in the parks and i have tried it out in the back country a few times and it gives me a great ride there. i love this board and im sure a lot of other people would too. out of all the boards i have used, i like the grudge/bully the best. i hope this helps. good luck getting a new board and have fun!

  4. I, like many more I guess, suggest that you should try a Burton or a Rome. It is said that the Rome brand has been created and developed by the best Burton producers. They left the Burton company because they wanted to stick only to hardgoods and Burton kept on developing new stuff like Street wear, etc. It seems that now they too found out the taste of money and so they went large too. But their snowboards remain intact.

Also you should take a look at the new Burton collection. As the others said, 1,47 is the best height for you. You'll find it harder to handle since it will be longer.

gabatron, 1,47 is not big for her. Usually the height of the board in calculated by the following methode: height of the boarder * 0.9

From Rome I recommend Blue or Vinyl! They are great for both, mountain and park.

From Burton the ones that would fit you would be the Feelgood series, Lux, Troop and Stria. Now it depends on what design you like best.

  5. okay, im 5'2 bout 120 i ride a 140 which is pretty much perfect for me because i ride all park, dont listen to them a 147 is wayy to big for you

i'd say a 144 , check out rome too, they have great baords, that are perfect for all around

you want a board between your chin and nose, shorter for park, taller end for free riding, powder and stuff, something right in between will be perfect for you, just take a look at a couple sized boards in person and figure otu whats right around your upper lip and that should be perfect.
