What type of sound system would be best for country music?

What system would be best for my jeep, Subs? amp? wires? speekers? I don't have a lot of money to spend. Thanks.

I own a '97 Jeep Wrangler and recently updated my system and it sounds great:

1) I bought a new deck for it (personally I prefer a Pioneer or Alpine) around here Best Buy usually has the best prices for those two brands.

2) I decided to put some fairly cheap 5.25" Pioneer speakers in the Sound Bar. These make it sound a little better, and can be found at Wal Mart for between $30-$40.

3) Depending on how much money you have, you can invest in some 6 or 8 inch passive Bazooka tubes speakers. These were the best investment Ive made as far as sound. They hang from the roll bar next to the back seat. The great thing about these is the fact that if you do alot of interstate driving and/or have a soft top, you can actually hear the music. They are also marine quality so if they get wet or muddy it doesn't matter (personal experience). These run fairly expensive around $250-$300.

4) The only problem I had with the tubes was the fact they were huge tweeters (which means they basically only play vocals) which isn't a bad thing for most country music. Being a fan of all country music, I found them great for Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr. and Sr., and George Jones, but the newer country coming out such as The Lost Trailers, Hot Apple Pie, Jamey Johnson, and even "The Ride" by David Allen Coe has some awesome bass in it. I purchased a 10" Alpine Sub and a 1000 watt Kenwood amp this equaled everything out and made everything sound great.

As a 18 year old college freshman, I run on what little money I dont spend on beer, food, and gas so I know what it's like not to be able to spend a ton of money on a Jeep. The best thing to do is to just make little changes to it at first and once you commit to it go all out. They are great vehicles even if you dont have a Mud Machine or Rock Crawler.

Get Better speakers, and a small 10 or 12" sub.

the type of a wire would be a 4 gage wire.

Dont buy sony. Check alpine.
