Which type of double stroller do you like best? Or do you use a sling and a single stroller? Emma will be eighteen months old when the new baby arrives.

  1. I like the Phil and Ted's because it converts to a double, but it takes up the space of a single. The side by sides are nicer than the front and back. It depends on your uses. The double side by sides tend to fold smaller and are easier to maneuver. However, they are wider, so are harder to fit through aisles in stores. The tandem strollers are very long and hard to turn and one child has an obstructed view. It depends on what your needs are. I hate the Graco double strollers. They're squeaky and bulky. I have a Maclaren single and a Maclaren double and they're great. Many of the newer side by sides you can find to hold an infant seat on one side. I believe Peg Perego makes one. I could be wrong, though. The joggers are the nicest and easiest to push, but they're huge and bulky. Again, it depends on your needs. The Kolcraft Contour double will be outgrown by your older child in about a year. It's made for small babies, and toddlers seem to find it uncomfortable.

  2. I am prego with number 2 and I am looking at a stroller I found at babysrus.com it is a baby trend double sit and stand stroller.  I liked this one because the back seat can come off to make it the sit and stand part for when they are alittle older but it is also a normal stroller seat for when it is a long day and they need to nap in the stroller.  I just saw it online I have yet to actually go to the store to look at it.

  3. I got a Graco DuoGlider stroller a few weeks ago, and I love it!  I was able to get it for just over $100 (from link below, also buy a cheap item to bump you over $100 to free shipping).  It steers so well.  It folds easily.  Comfortable for kids.  I love it.  I'd have gotten it a couple kids ago (I have 4 children, with #5 due in January) if I'd had an opportunity to try one out in person!  Right now, I'm using it with a 3-year-old and 1-year-old, and in January, I'll start using it with a 19-month-old and newborn.  I highly recommend it, and there is no squeaking unlike what someone mentioned up above....

  4. I don't have a double stroller myself, but a few friends of mine have the graco double (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp... and it squeaks ridiculously! And it's not a fluke because it's like 4 strollers. I have 2 friends that have this one and love it! http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp...

  5. I got the Graco Duoglider.  We already had the Graco infant seat, so it was an easy choice to go with the duoglider since the infant seat would fit in there.

There were also a few times we used the infant carrier for my son and either let my daughter walk or be in the single stroller.

I think it is best to have both, because what you will want to use at the time really depends on the situation  :)

  6. Oh my gosh!  it used to say ttc on your pic and now your prego with number 2 finally, CONGRATS!!!!

I only have one baby right now so I don't know about the stroller, sorry.

  7. My kids are almost 2 yrs apart and I used the Graco DuoGlider.  I HIGHLY recommend it.  It's easy to fold, strap in, have them nap in it.  It's basket (very important feature) doesn't drag on the floor with a few items in it as others do.  it's narrow enough to fit through the door, and around the mall.  It is a little like driving a minivan instead of a car because it's longer then a single, but easy enough to get used to.

Target has them and I found a link for a free giftcard... we spend enough on baby items... any bit helps.

  8. I'm pregnant with my second child. But my sister has 3 kids she uses a double stroller the one were the younger one is in the back and the older one is in the front my mom also used that for me and my sister.
