I have had PRK surgery done and have 20 15 vision in both eyes for over two years now. But have trouble at night with the starbursts from lights and the reflection off the street/highway signs. The new headlights and new LED stop lights also blind me and make me get motion sickness. Can someone please recommend what type of lenses i need to get so that I can travel at night.

  1. That is a hard one. The night time glare is an issue for many people. You could try a couple of different things. Some people do well with a plano lense that has a soft yellow tint with a premium AR coating. You do not want it to be over a 40% tint though, it would need to be light. Barely there. You can hinder your driving ability if it is too dark. Light light tan or rose might work for you too. These might help you with computer screen glare too. Ask the office where you had your surgery what they would reccomend and see if they think I am nutty. I work for an optometrist that does a lot of pre and post lasik work for Dr. Robert maloney in Los Angeles and this is what we reccomend. It seams to work. I have never done a refund!
