What type of tattoos are these?

I dont know a lot about tattoos, but i saw somewhere these really amazing color tattoos where a color is hitting one side of it kind of like its shadow but then it turns into another color. this is kinda hard for me to explain but i hope someone knows what im talking about. Im trying to find some pictures of tattoos like this but i dont know what to look for....???

I am actually unsure of this one. I doubt that there is a specific name for it, it may just be the type of coloring that the person wanted.

However, I am sure that if you went in to talk to an artist, they would be willing to help you figure out what you saw.
