What type of technology do I have to consider when purchasing a TV for a rotating AD

I want to install a a flat panel LCD TV at our business and I would like for it to accommodate a USB connection or an SD card slot that will play my ads from a flash drive. I don't want to use a PC hooked up to a TV. Is this possibe?

There are a couple of TV's that have card slots for just such a thing, you need to do a search on the net to find out which ones.
