  1. Under Armour

  2. ccfan your an idiot.. he's talking about pond-type hockey.. the pros dont have to worry about it being too cold because standard rinks are heated (ice stays as ice because of machines below). that just shows how much you know..

  3. i wear shorts and a sports bra

but i guess thats not what youre looking for..

  4. we use our sweat from the game to stay warm

ADD- what benchwarmers??? there are no benchwarmers in hockey its a team sport

  5. If I were you I'd go with the Under Armour cold gear.  I wear I go to NFL games in freezing conditions.  The cold gear is said to make it feel 20-30 degrees warmer.  Nike, Adidas, and Rbk all have some version of this, but in terms of warmth, UA is the way to go.  They make layers too...as well as pants.

  6. exactly what that other kid said.. Ive played in below 0 weather (the ice rink i play at is partially outdoors because it makes the ice amazing) and have been fine because of just sweat

  7. i wear a pair of shorts so my cup can keep the jewels in a safe place

  8. You wear stuff to keep you cool. The equipment insulates you and the skating around at high speed tends to take care of the heating.

And even the benchwarmers don't wear anything different. They stay warm enough with the equipment on, and when they do go out they don't want to overheat.

  9. Nothing really, all the pads keep you warm enough if your sitting the bench for most of the game, and if your playing you definately don't need warmth.

Just get some Hot Chilis. They're like Under Armour but the opposite. They keep all your body heat in.

  10. haha im guessing you have never played/watched a hockey game?? they are men out there on the ice, they wear no "thermal" gear.  They go out there with broken noses, hands, 35 stitches and finish the game, they are worried  more about getting malaria than how cold they are during a game

and you really think that pond hockey you need thermals too?? are your pads, socks, sweater, hockey pants not enough?? you;re probably the one out there with a stocking cap under your helmet jb??  if you need thermal gear you are playing the wrong game, switch to curling or something

  11. nothin much just pro armor?

  12. I just where a t-shirt, after you work up a sweat you will be warm.  But if you are playing in a cold weather environment, which I have done before, and I know, it sucks, I would recommend getting sweatpants, and just a normal long sleeve shirt.   Underarmor is expensive and doenst work that well in my opinion.  Something I HIGHLY recommend is bringing a hairdryer with you in your bag, because some rinks don't have those hand dryers where you can put your equipment under them to warm them up, so bring a hair dryer and you will be able to warm up your skates or gloves or shin pads or whatever you don't want to be freezing cold when you put on.

  13. try this

    underneath all your equipment...

wear a t shirt and boxers

youll be fine that way, or else your a giant vag... pardon my french

  14. Stanfields
