  1. wood, rope, cactus wood,no rubber ,some plastic but all kinds are ok

  2. I would say wooden and hard plastic they can not bite into. Anything for parakeets and cockatiel size.

  3. Conures are extremely intelligent and need things to do.  They can be quite destructive with toys so quality is not always better than quantity.  If the bird is going to break the toy anyway, then paying more for an expensive one is pointless and so called destruction-proof toys are not as proven as they advertise when a determined bird gives time and patience to its destruction.

Ideas for toys can be based on figuring things out for food, so a peanut in a small cardboard box hanging on a rope is a good idea.  This is a simple first task to get the bird interested them make the task more difficult as it breaks the previous etc.

Cardboard toilet roll tubes can be used, as can kebabs of mixed fruits hanging from the cage roof.  Kebabs can even be rolled in chicken wire to make it more difficult to get at the fruit inside.

Rawhide sold as dog chews make good chews for birds as well as they last longer and allow the bird to be destructive which prevents frustration.

Otherwise normal bird toys sold for medium sized parrots can be used but depending on the quality they may not last very long

  4. rope is good so the conures can chew on it. To sharpen it's beak or something

  5. Toy rope ,wood, hard plastic

  6. My greenie loves toys with bells. 8)  Wooden toys are great too because many conures are quite the little destructors. Ropes toys you you have careful with because they can get their nails caught in them. Plastic can be ok to but make sure it's not made from thin flimsy cheap plastic that they would be able to chew up. Tiny pieces could end up lodging in their throat. Neither my GCC or my Indian Ringneck has taken a liking to rubber toys but, parrots really differ so try a variety to see what he likes.
