It has hard , green pea size bunches of Berries? on the branches .

I live in Victoria B.C. It is no doubt a common tree here . I just have no idea what it is . All pictures of cherry trees that I've seen don't seem to match up. I snapped some quick pictures of it .

  1. That's where I live!!

Is it a walnut tree? Google it and look at the "images".

  2. The foliage resembles that of a sweet chestnut. If the fruitlets develop a spiky covering in the fall, opening them will solve the question.

  3. a wood one

  4. Those are most definately dingleberries.

  5. The leaves are not walnut or Red Cherry, and the fruit doesn't look like cherry.I would say based on leaf, and fruit that it is without doubt a crabapple. The fruit cluster is to heavy for a chestnut, and chestnuts have compound leaves of five wide leaflets the leaf with it's leaflets resemble the hand spread wide with two leaflets angled down.

  6. Looks like a Canada Red Cherry tree with green fruit. See what it looks like when the fruits ripen.

  7. It is a crabapple the fruit is not fully developed yet.
