What type of undies under low rise jeans?

my gf says I should only wear a thong under low rise jeans (which is OK, because I wear thongs all the time), but sometimes they show. should I switch to bikini underwear or just wear thongs?

Wear boxers. Dude, maybe ur from somewhere else, but where i'm from, people would laugh at you if they saw you wearing a thong. Besides, boxers are way more comfortable :-)

wear low rise boy shorts so that you don't see the annoying lines that show up when you walk that come from normal bikini under wear
