What type of video camera am I looking for?

I am looking for just a simple, kinda cheap video camera that i can take videos(with sound, of course,) and download onto the computer. There are so many types, like DVD, hard drive, flash drive, and Minidv. Which Should I get. Mini DV sounds the best, but i want to know from more3 knowledgeable people?

I like the ELPH by canon. it is a bit on the expensive side but it is totally worth it.

i have a flip camera.

its perfect for my youtube.

+its clear picture,[like no pixel stuff showing]

+great sounds that you can control

-small screen, but fits to youtube screen

+CHEAP

+holds up to an hours worth of video.
