  1. For the most part, if  you are residing in the US, you would need a green card (I-551) as a Lawful Permanent Resident.

    to work in Mexico, you can work there for a short time, but if you plan on working a long period of time? you need to reside in Mexico, beware, if you were to become a permanent worker in Mexico? you would loose you permanent residence in the US. you have a choice. make the best one.
