What type of volleyball spandex should I buy?

Question

I didn't even know there were different types. I don't know which one to buy. I usually wear stuff below my waist. I don't want it to be too long but not too short. I'm 5'3 and I'm probably an XS.

Ive had my addidas spandex since freshman year, and im a senior, so if your looking for somthing that lasts, its addidas. Our uniforms have addidas spandex, and theyve lasted a bout 8 years. (luckily we have new ones for this season, but our JV uses them now! And they look great!) Plus, there are no funny seams like some spandex that make it look like you have a permanent wedgie!

I prefer the Mizuno brand myself. They last longer than any other pair of spandex I wear and they're really comfortable.

Definitely Mizunos and Under Armour are the best. Nike and Champions are good to. I think Mizunos last the longest.

Mizuno and asicis are good brands also try underarmor and adidas

i buy my spandex at adidas .com or underarmor.com

i usually get the blue(my school color) compression shorts from underarmor.com

i would recommend adidas, because they dont wear out easily and they dont snag when you dive for balls on the court.  or mizuno low riders because they ride lower than normal volleyball shorts.  go to eastbay.com or q-sport.com and they have everything really cheap and easy.

You can just buy black leggings and cut them at a short size. Good luck or go to a sports store and ask them where and what kind of spandex you should get.

I personally don't like mizuno spandex.  I would either go with adidas or asics.  They go up past your waist but I always roll them 2 or 3 times.  I like the adidas a little better than the asics and I think they're more comfortable because they don't have a seam that goes up your butt:)

I would go to a store and buy them rather than going online unless you already have a pair and know exactly what size and know how they feel so your sure you want them.  The only place I buy them is scheels.

I know in the pictures it looks like they go really high up but that's why you roll them 2 or 3 times and pull the bottoms up a little.
