What type of weather likely in Spain mid October to end November?

We are arriving in Barcelona, spending 3 days there, then driving slowly down to Alicante... where we'll base ourselves for driving day trips & over-nighters to wherever takes our fancy.

well i went to spain in september last yr and the tourist season was finishing so hardly any shops or restaurants were open, but the weather was warm ish but it was rainy, stormy and you couldnt get a decent tan if you tried.

meteorologists can't guess the weather correctly 3 days out, much less 45.

I am going to say it will be....a great experience for you and those who are travelling with you, regardless if it gets a little damp or cool.

The temperature will be 17to mid 20c with some rain and colder in the evenings. Have a nice time.

High probability of rain from Oct onwards. You will find it will be quite cool in the mornings and evenings and you will need a jacket but by lunchtime it will be Tshirt weather if it isn´t raining.  Whatever the weather you should have a great time. If you reach Alicante go a bit further to the Mar Menor where the mud baths are - this area is known as the Costa Calida (warm coast) so you may even be able to enjoy a little dip in the sea even at this time of year.

The weather in Barcelona is pleasant most of the year round. However you'll experience the absolute best weather from May to the end of July. September is also a good month.

August can be hot during the day (sometimes peaking around 34°C, 95F ) so if you love saunas then this is the time of the year for you!

The weather in October and November is still pleasant but starting to get a little cooler (21°C down to 15°C, 69 to 59F). You won't find sunshine every day though, so be prepared for days when it could be overcast with a little rain.

Its already cool in Barcelona Mid October to November, so bring warm clothing.. Alicante being south can still be slightly warm but not summer like.. So i suggest packing a few extra sweaters if you go out nightly in Alicante as well as Barcelona..
