What type of weight training is best for martial arts?

I got access to a full gym at school and what types of weight training should i do to help my tkd/hapkido/san shou

  1. try crossfit or the gym jones workouts you wont get big and your explosive strength and endurance will improve by leaps and bounds for the workouts and how to do the exercises go to crossfit.com and any help you need for lifting techniques the coach at your school should be able to help you with.


  2. You do not want to bulk up like a weight lifter for those so go with more reps and low weight. But honestly, I have seen many people who study those martial arts who are strong and in great shape from only using the training techniques and all lifting without weights(push ups, sit ups, etc) basically keeping it natural.

    Your real best bet is to get a trainer to work your properly.

  3. justtrain the muscles you notice are sore or tired after a class.

  4. high reps light weights only a few times per week
