When i cook a meal with beef, what type of wine should i serve with the dish?

  1. Cabernet. Or a really rich Burgundy. Have a bottle of both red and white though. Some folks only drink whites.


  2. A red wine like a merlot or pinotage.

  3. Whatever kind you like. Personally, I like Shiraz with red meat.

  4. A nice Merlot or Piot Noir are my favorites with Prime Rib or a good steak.

    That's my answer.

    I prefer a Sangeovese...itls kind of like a Chianti

  8. A big Napa Valley Cabernet goes great. If you are having a really nice cut of beef, then get a nice Cab, like Duckhorn, Silver Oak, Opus One, Mondavi Reserve, Cakebread, Heitz or Dominus to name a few of California's better Cab producers.
