What type of wire is the wire for sirius radio?

i was told it was fiber optic i was going to cut it cause it split while on the trunk of the car but if i play with it now it comes on so i wanted to cut it and re connect it if possible?! any help from any one!

I believe that's a co-axial cable, you should be able to splice it.
