  1. There is only one "type" of pet ferret but there are different colors and patterns.  Visit http://www.ferret.org/events/colors/colo... and you can see what's available.

  2. There's a ferret called the Albino Ferret that is solid white. They are very pretty accept they have red eyes. Heres a picture.

  3. you can get a ferret in loads of different colours.

    you can also get an angora ferret which is a long haired ferret, heres a picture of one: http://www.eleveur.eu/photos/gd_furet_an...

    and you can get curly coated ferrets although they are very rare and apparently only a few in sweden im not sure how true that is though lol:)

  4. Nasty and nastier.

  5. Annoying ones.

  6. There is only one type of domestic ferret but there are members of the family, Mustelidae (weasels) that are also a type of ferret.

    The ferret is a domestic mammal of the type Mustela putorius furo. Domestic ferrets typically have brown, black, white, or mixed fur, have an average length of approximately 20 inches (51 cm) including a 5 inch (13 cm) tail, weigh about 2-4 pounds (1 kg),[1] and have a natural lifespan of 7 to 10 years.[2][3][4]

    Several other small, elongated carnivorous mammals belonging to the family Mustelidae (weasels) also have the word "ferret" in their common names, including an endangered species, the Black-footed Ferret. The ferret is a very close relative of the polecat, but it is as yet unclear whether it is a domesticated form of the European Polecat, the Steppe Polecat, or some hybrid of the two.

    Ferret people have made up many ferret colors over time, but really, there are only four basic colors. The Sable (including chocolate and dark), Albino, Dark Eyed White (DEW), and the silver. All the other crazy colors of a ferret fall right into one of these four categories.

    The ones recognized by the American Ferret Association are as follows:

    Colors:

        * Albino

        * Black

        * Black Sable

        * Champagne

        * Chocolate

        * Cinnamon

        * Dark-eyed White

        * Sable

        * Silver

        * Blue

    Color concentrations:

        * Standards

        * Roans

        * Point (Siamese)

        * Solids

    Markings:

        * Blaze

        * Panda

        * Mitt
