  1. The normal homeowner policy  plus flood insurance.  Rates in fl very high after the last hurricane

  2. Depends on where the house is located.  Likely, you'll need a homeowners policy, a wind policy (to cover hurricane damage), and flood insurance.

If you have a $150,000 home, the insurance for it (between those three policies) will run you around $8,000 a year.

  3. It depends on where you are in Florida.  You may not required to get flood insurance althought it would be a good idea either way.  If you are in a preferred flood zone your annual premium would be no more than $350 a year but if you are in a flood zone you can pay anywhere from 500-2500.  As for the home insurance again depends where in Florida but I have seen policies at 150k from $1100-3000.  If you would like a quote I would suggest calling my agent at 813-655-0910.
