What types of activities and fun things could you do for a Earth Day Celebration?

Our school as a Art Day every year. We have face paint, large blow-up games, a ceramics competition where people make a pot on the potters wheel, tacos, and fun stuff like that.

I was wondering, What kinds of things could you do for a Earth Day Celebration. I want some sort of contests, or something interesting, things that high school students would be excited about. :]

here's some ideas.......

1.you hide a bunch of cans and water bottles and hide them in a big area, then the students are split in 2 teams, you give each team recycling bins and who ever finds the most bottles and cans wins (all the bottles and cans will be recycled)

2.give everyone recycling bins to recycle things that have been littered and who ever can recycle the most litter wins.
