  1. Cockatiels, other parakeets, sometimes lovebirds will, finches, and other birds relatively close to that size.  Do not get any bird larger than a cockatiel--they may incidentally harm your own bird.

  2. Lovebirds

They are extremely sociable with budgies. :]

  3. Mostly any. Birds in the wild are compatible with each other. if your cage is small, then you shouldn't put any other birds. If it's big, you can put Zebra Finches, Gouldian Finches, Spice Finches, Society Finches. Maybe even doves.

  4. Other parakeets.  Parakeets will either attack or unmercifully and relentlessly chase smaller birds or be attacked and/or chased by larger birds.  You never want to mix hookbilled birds, such as parakeets, with the so-called softbilled birds (pointed, noncurved beaks), even of the same size, as the parakeets will chase/attack them.  Parakeets seem to enjoy being in groups or pairs if the cage has plenty of room for perching and flying.

  5. i have a cockatoo nd i think that the bird should have its own space! =]

  6. Lovebirds, cockatails

  7. How big is your cage?  Do you have a particular type of bird you are curious about?  White Doves  can share an aviary with parakeets usually.  A small indoor cage should not be too crowded.  If you are looking for company ... parakeets usually enjoy another parakeet the most.  Any time you put two new birds together , it should be at a time you can sit and pay bills or some other task and watch that ne is not picked on by the other one.
