What types of birds go well with budgies? ?

In the same cage only other budgies.  Budgies are quite aggressive for a small bird and will likely injure or kill smaller birds like finches or canaries and may even seriously injure cockatiels who are much less aggressive.    Larger birds will likely kill or injure a budgie

in the same cage? thats not a good idea but i had canaries and budgies beside cages and they got along well as a matter of fact when i sold my budgies my canaries stoped singing and never did

Some cockatiels do good, as long as they don't fight.  You really just have to try.  Parrots...  Not what I've heard.  

I've seen some finches together with 'keets.

Lovebirds are good too.

Finches, Canaries, Budgies. I wouldn't suggest lovebirds (very aggresive).
