  1. In which caliber? 9mm Para, .40 S&W, or 9x21?

  2. 9mm - 15 rounds +1

    .40 cal - 12 rounds +1

Both calibers have 10 round mags available.

I hope that answers your question...But I do not know what the question really was.

  3. The answers already given are good.  I would go one step further, and go to www.waltheramerica.com.  You can download a manual for the specific pistol (it is listed), as well as get customer service contact info.  Then, give them a call.  They will help, and not judge.  I have dealt with many firearm companies, and they will answer questions.  Try the manual first though.

  4. You will either have one chambered in 9x19mm (aka 9mm parabellum aka 9mm luger aka "regular 9mm")  or one chambered in 40S&W (aka "40 cal" aka "short and weak"  even though it is a pretty powerful round)

The 9mm version can ONLY shoot 9mm ammunition Specifically a 'normal 9mm' can only take 9x19mm.  It is called 9x19 because the bullet is 9mm wide and the shell case is 19mm long, hence 9x19mm. There are some much less common types of 9mm such as "9mm short" which is 9x17 which WILL NOT WORK, "9mm makarov" which is 9x18 and WILL NOT WORK, and "9mm Largo" which is 9x21 and WILL NOT WORK.

Stick with 9x19, which, as mentioned before, can also be called "9mm parabellum" or "9mm para" for short, or also "9mm Luger"

Note: 9mm Luger is OKAY, 9mm Largo is BAD

the 40S&W version can ONLY shoot 40S&W

in the 9mm version it can shoot any bullet type, from lead round nose to wadcutters, but jacketed hollow points are most common for defense and 'hardball' aka jacketed roundnose bullets are common for target practice.  Bullets can weigh as little as 100 grains to as much as 148 grains.  115 grains and 124 grains are probably the most common

Same is true of the 40S&W, all sorts of bullet types, bullets can weigh as little as 130 grains or as much as 200, but 145 and 165 are the most common
