You can draw a picture of anything.  You can argue your perception of the object as well as the way you rendered it are culturally constructed.  The materials you use to draw as well as the paper or whatever you draw on are also cultural objects.  Any and everything about this project screams of anthropology.  Depending on your teacher I might go with a picture of a tree.  The way you picture a tree is part of who you are, the way you see the world, the tools available to you, what you see as important about a tree, what trees in your area look like, everything.  You an make an impressive argument, unless your teacher is one of those think inside the box people and then you get a 0 for being a smartass.
