I am planting eastern red cedars, rosa rugosa and coneflowers but I'm trying to add more native, bee friendly flowers to my yard.

Thanks

  1. The Native Plant Society if New Jersey has lists BY COUNTY  at the site below,  and a list of sources.

Florists are going to sell FTD flowers, like chrysanthemums, carnations, baby's breath, roses... hothouse flowers and imported species like heliconoia... I've NEVER seen . a commercial florist do an arrangement with natives.

This is the direct link to the lists by county.

The sources link seems to be working now, but just in case here is the nursery list prepared by Native Plant Society of New Jersey.

  2. vibrant, Try calling a nearby florist and they can answer your questions. I found a huge list of New Jersey florists. http://www.localfloristsonline.com/New-J... I suggest phoneing a florist close to where you live.
