What types of food can i offer to a conure that is about to wean?>?

i feed my conure fruit (but never fruit seeds, and especially not apple seeds as they contain cyanide).  i also feed her nuts, peanuts are okay in the shell, and fun for them...otehr nuts should already be taken out of the shell when you feed them.  sunflower seeds are usually a favourite..but be careful they're high in fat.  also hard boiled egg is a great source of nutrients.  

my friend gives his conure steamed rice, i haven't done so yet.

also conures are funny, sometimes you have to give them the same type of food a couple times before they'll like it.
