What types of food do they eat in El Salvador?

if you know, i would greatly appreciate it. i am doing this project and i have to bring in a food that they eat there. please help. thank you.

I have ate El Salvador's foods because I have one friend who born in El Salvador.  They are using Pupusa.  They can use rice with chicken.  I would suggest you to visit this site below:

The most famous dish in El Salvador is a papusa served with curtido (pickled cabage).

If you want to go all out authenic and are not concered with being politically correct you would make these filled with chicharones (pork rinds) and cheese and cook them in lard. Not really reccomended to eat too often because of heart issues but oh so delicious! lol
