  1. Viscous friction, air resistance, surface friction, kinetic friction.


  2. The friction would depend on the motion you would need to make or over come. Braking and moving are the simplest for you have to over come static friction to get moving , to stop it is kinetic motion usually overcome by converting motion into heat by using the brakes. when you change directions you have to overcome the twisting of the tires that want to keep going straight. There is a lot more to it but I think you ge the picture
