What types of goldfish CAN fit in a 10 gallon tank?? Or none at all?!?!?

I am looking for a type of goldfish that can fit in a 5-10 gallon tank. If there are no goldfish that will live in these tanks, what other type of fish can fit.......OTHER THAN A BETA!!!

No, definitely not a 5 gallon, and you could get away with a 10 gallon for a few months, then you'd need to upgrade to a larger tank.  That's really just a waste of money, you'd be better off going with a 20-30 gallon and calling it his final home.

For a 10 gallon tank, most community fish that stay under 2-3 inches would do fine in it.  The only thing, you'd be limited to only a few, depending on the types, I'd say 4-8 maximum.  Tetras, livebearers(but not swordtails), small barbs like cherry barbs, rasboras, zebra danios, etc.

If you want to clean your tank twice every week, then get a goldfish. You can get a lot of other fish to live in a 10 gallon tank. Neon tetras, zebra danios, platys, mollies, African dwarf frogs, ect...

I have 3 "large" common goldfish (feeders) in a 10 gallon tank with a filter and they are doing fine.  I have had them for 4 months and they are still swimming happily.

a single fancy goldfish can live in a 10 gallon tank comfortably assuming filtration is good and waterchanges are done regularly.

comets and shubunkins (long torpedo shaped goldfish with a single tail) however require 30 gallons per fish due to being a very fast active fish.

Koi will also require at least 30 gallons each.
