What types of materials do you think wont smudge pen!?

like for some kind of slip i can make for my hand (left handed) because it always smudges on paper!

yea, it's most likely the pen or type of paper you are using. but if you can't maintain your hand from making contact with the materials up until you are finished drawing, i suggest you buy a can of artists' fixative. it locks the medium in. you spray it over the illustration approx 5-7 inches away. You can find it at any Walmart or artist or craft store- ie: Hobby Lobby, Micheal's, local artists store

Use a piece of coarse paper, also work from the top of the page down, that way your hand rests on blank page instead of smudging your hard work.

It's not the quality of paper that's necessarily smudging your pen - it's your pen. Try a fast absorbing liquid ink, gels tend to smear.
