  1. none

  2. Jules Thin Crust Pizza has a gluten-free pizza.

  3. I tend to stick with authentic Mexican food (no Chevy's or anything like that), staying away from flour tortillas, but corn tortillas are just fine and yummy. Occasionally, restaurants have flour chips too, so ya gotta be vigilant.

I also tend to be able to have Vietnamese, or Thai food, just not Chinese food (PF Changs is an exception, but I don't like their food). Both Vietnamese and Thai food tend to have rice noodles which are safe, as are spring roll wrappers and, they don't tend to use soy sauce as much either.

Japanese is another good choice, just bring your own gluten free soy sauce! The organic tamari from San J is gluten free and can be found at Safeway. There are other brands of tamari soy sauce that you can find at health food stores which are good too. Stay away from Teriyaki chicken or tempura or miso soup. I tend to have the sushi and am careful of soy sauce in the sauces.

I also enjoy Indian food, which excluding the Nan bread and any thickeners of wheat in the sauce (which I don't think is used much), you're all good.

Lastly, you can often eat at buffets or have hamburgers without the bun (In N Out offers a bunless protein burger and I have that with fries which I think aren't fried in the same vat). You can try Fresh Choice, just have the baked potato instead of the breads.

Anywho, Mexican and Asian foods (Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, and Indian) are okay, and sometimes Moroccan is okay if you get the rice and meat. Good luck, and I hope I helped you out!! They aren't specific restaurants because I don't know where you live, but they are some generalities you can stick with.

  4. there are a lot. there is bonefish grill, wildfire, pf chengs, claimjumpers, adobo grill, weber grill, carrabas italian grill, pizza fusion, and more. send me an email if there is a specific restaurant u are looking for in a specific location.

  5. TROPICAL SMOOTHIE?

  6. PF Changs can be.

I have a friend who is deathly allergic to gluten.  That is not an overstatement.  The only restaurant that she said she can go to is PF Changs.  She explained her allergy. They washed all the surfaces and even cleaned the grill before preparing her meal.  This was to ensure that her food could not even have the possibility to be exposed to any wheat products.  Pain for the restaurant? Yes.  However, they have a dedicated customer who raves about them and leaves very good tips.  This is in California.  I do not know if all of there locations will do that but it is worth a call to ask.

As for types of restaurants, you might also try vegetarian or some place that grills like a Mongolian BBQ.

  7. Many restaurants offer gluten free items on their menus; you will have to check out your local places.  Papa John's has  a gluten free crust.

  8. Carino's ( the italian restaurant) also has a gluten free menu.  Just ask your server for it when you get there.

  9. I work at Outback Steakhouse. We have an entire Gluten Free menu. You can look at it online- the link is attached. There are foods from appetizers to deserts (brownies floured with sugar instead of flour) made specifically for Gluten Free costumers. The food isn't seasoned different or prepared differently- it's just a different butter on the vegetables or no croutons on a salad.

All those people that say none, don't answer if you don't know.

  10. To be honest... None, you'll just have to go to a restaurant and ask for gluten free food, i'm sure they'll have food for you.

  11. The restaurant that doesn't have any customers. =)
