What types of stable, good paying jobs can you have to change the world?

I would like to have a job that would help me make a difference in the world, but I have no clue where to begin. I want to have a stable job, the type of job where you have regular work weeks and make a decent salary. I've had a hard time trying to figuring out what I want do with my life and in order for me to claim a major I should figure out which job I want to do first. All I know is that I want to help the world in whatever career I pursue, I just need a little help finding a career.

I don't have a good suggestion for jobs outright, but get involved with volunteer organizations. They should better help you find companies and associations that "change" the world.

But don't forget, it's example that inspires not a job title. You can easily work as a plumber and still inspire people. And people only change when inspired.

don't become a teacher. they have stable jobs and could affect the way our future leaders think. but they don't get paid very much. teachers are underpaid.
