What types of things can you add to your presentation to make it stand out, look more professional, or grab the audience's attention.

Try to keep it as simple as possible. Cramming your slides full of images is going to take the attention of your listeners away from you -- you want them to listen to you, not look at the pretty pictures and graphs on the slides.

depends on what your working on, for professional you can use charts, graphs pictures pictures of man and women in well clothed(uniforms, suit, skirt-shirt) all depends on what your looking and working for
